Who is Kotonomi?

Turn a moment into a memory that will last a lifetime.
"That's when something like this happened."
I think it's not just the act of giving and receiving a gift, but also a variety of emotions. A balloon shop that supports those feelings and gives you the space as a gift.

In addition to events, decorations, and goods production, we also accept completely custom orders. As an earth-friendly balloon shop, we engage in recycling activities and aim to create elegant gifts while keeping the "Japanese spirit" in mind.

Message from the President

I want to move forward as beautifully and powerfully as the sound of a koto. “Kotonomi” was born from such hungry feelings.

Days spent in a hurry amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.
Suddenly, I recall memories of practicing Kendo as a child, and memories of spending time with my family at my parents' house amidst the warmth of wood and the smell of tatami mats.
For me, no matter how I look at my nostalgic memories of the past, they relate to and feel Japanese.
We have decided to carry a large number of Japanese balloons with the hope that we will never forget such nostalgic and precious memories.

Meanwhile, when I turned my attention to environmental issues that were becoming a problem around the world as plastic bags started to become expensive in Japan, I was really worried about whether I should continue to launch a balloon brand.

Remembering the balloons I bought at the theme park when I was little, and the faces of my parents who gave them to me as gifts, I continued to think about how I could open a balloon shop while being environmentally friendly. I decided on one theme.

Unusually for a balloon shop, in order to reduce household waste, we have devised a unique balloon collection service in which used balloons are sent back in a return envelope.

We will work hard every day to become a team that can continue moving forward.
